Terms of Sale

These terms apply to our online and Etsy shops sales. Please read them carefully. By accessing or using this website, you agree to be bound by the terms described herein and all terms incorporated by reference. Payments: Shalimar Yarns currently accepts Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover credit cards, Paypal and Etsy gift cards. By submitting your order, you represent and warrant that you are authorized to use the designated credit card and authorize us to charge your order (including taxes, shipping and handling) to that card. If the card cannot be verified, is invalid or is otherwise not acceptable, your order may be suspended or cancelled automatically.

 

Pricing and Availability: All prices for products (and the associated costs of shipping and tax) are shown in U.S. dollars. All items are subject to availability and we reserve the right to impose quantity limits on any order or to reject all or part of an order. All prices are subject to change without notice.

 

Shipping Terms and Policies: Standard shipping is typically via UPS, or the U.S. Postal Service. All shipping charges are your responsibility, unless waived by Shalimar Yarns. Shipping charges will be included on your invoice and can be viewed prior to finalizing your order.Shipping charges are subject to change without notice. We ship every day accept Sunday and US federal holidays. International customers are solely responsible for any additional duties, taxes or customs’ charges that may occur.

 

Tracking Notifications: We offer tracking information on all of our shipments at this time. Unfortunately, if a package is scanned as delivered and you have not received it, we are unable to reship your yarn. Please make sure that your mailing address is correct and the postal/delivery person knows where to place your packages. All orders are shipped FOB shipping point. Title to products passes from Shalimar Yarns to you upon shipment and we are not responsible for any shipping delays or problems once the product has been shipped.

Combining Orders: We cannot guarantee combination of multiple orders, although we will try when possible.

Refunds and Exchanges: Our primary goal is ensure you are delighted with your purchase. However, because of limited product availability in our  Updates, and required custom dyeing in our Designer/Preorder Updates, all sales are considered Final.

Changing an order once it is submitted: We want you to have the yarn you desire, and will accommodate order changes when we are able. Contact shalimarservice@shalimaryarns.com within 24 hours of your order being placed and we will get back to you within 24-48 hours regarding your request.

What do I do if my order is incomplete or incorrect: We do our best to ensure accuracy in your order. However, if you believe there is an error in your received order, please contact us at shalimarservice@shalimaryarns.com within 7 days of package receipt so that we may correct the error. Please include your Etsy/Paypal order number. We can only respond to emails sent to: shalimarservice@shalimaryarns.com. We will issue a prepaid PDF return shipping label via the email used in your purchase. We will not accept any returns that have not been authorized via a direct communication from shalimarservice@shalimaryarns.com. A valid return constitutes product that is in the original packaging, intact, clean, showing no wear or tear, and 100% resaleable. Valid returns will be accepted only in the event of inaccuracy of order shipping or product damage that is sole responsibility of Shalimar Yarns.

 

Back Orders: On the rare occasion that we need to ship your order in a partial shipment, we will notify you with an approximate ship date via the email provided through your purchase. Typically these items ship within a day or two of the original shipment. If the date of shipment is over 48 hours, you will be notified and you can request a full refund on any or all backordered items. Items shipped in partial shipments will be charged at the time of order, although no additional shipping charges will apply.

Color Monitors and Photo Accuracy: While we do our best to ensure the accuracy of the colors represented, please remember that computer monitors vary and there may be slight to moderate differences in the colors you receive. In addition, hand dyed yarn has variances depending on fiber content. We cannot warrant the accuracy of colors as they are perceived on individual monitors.
